The KISSWELL EP was created as an experiment from one session in the studio between the friendship which was drawn together through a spiritual gravity. vocalist Farai Bukowski-Bouquet and producer Basil Anthony Harewood aka TØNE together created the music now under the artist name FARAI. We had many variants to explore and many limitations in place and the thesis we concluded upon is documented within the audio manuscript. Produced in Deptford, London September 2016 on Murphy's corner. Accompanied by a comotosed bootstrap Benny in session we forged a message of conflict in the city. The voice of Farai, a Lion Warrior living in and battling life on the streets in the city, everyday guided by the spirit of her late father Kisswell. Big Synths played through guitar amps backed by bass and drum robots making noise rhythms.

A staggering achievement. Conceived and executed in total disregard of the borders of genre, "PARADISO" gathers the corners of Amobi's oeuvre and stretches it around a frame big enough for any of the classic 70s prog 2xLPs. Imagine an operetta written by Pierre Schaeffer, Tricky, and William Blake and you'll only get the faintest idea what goes on in "PARADISO." Wish Fulfillment

they picked the cotton that saved the world. that picked cotton propelled u.s. economy; a unique capitalist setup. (though anglo saxon colonizers are not unique.) so many pop stars and hip hop billboard mainstays trumpet u.s. capitalism ad nauseam; or escapism & distraction.
"Don't Die," also powerful.
"i don't believe they lies. don't believe their truth, need they heads for proof" -- that's direct and powerful. Jeremy Leaming
